Parsnips

We went to our friends' house for lunch after church today. Our friends have three daughters, the oldest being fourteen, so they were very prepared and excited for LG to visit. They brought out all their leftover toys from when their girls were little, and LG had a fantastic time playing with the toys and the family. When the meal was served, the family brought out their old high chair, and LG sat in it and ate her rice cereal, and she tried parsnips for the first time. She didn't spit the parsnips out, but I don't think she liked them very much. She made a horrible face when she tried them. I'll serve them to her two more times, and then we will move on to carrots. Maybe she will like them better later.
