Today a national holiday was celebrated, May Day. Of course, May Day was actually on the first, but everyone got today off of work since the first was on Saturday. We took the opportunity to take the bus into our local shopping area and poke around a few stores. I bought some baby food containers so that I have something to put LG's food in the next time we are invited over to friends' houses, and we bought a couple of other odds and ins. We also stopped in to McDonald's and got milkshakes! Yum! On the way home, we got off the bus a couple of stops early, so we could walk home a different way. We noticed this beautiful pink tree (it might be a cherry tree?), but what was even more amazing was how many pink petals were covering the ground beneath the tree!
