This morning LG and I went to a ladies Bible study. It's about a 5 minute drive away, and I drove! I have been very hesitant to drive here, but today I determined to get over it and just do it. The Bible study is great, and it's nice because there is a creche (nursery) for the little ones. LG was sleepy when I put her in the creche, which means she was fussy, so by the end of the study, she had all the other babies crying with her. I ran to her and took her from the arms of the caregiver, and, of course, she fell asleep trait away. On the way home, I sang to her which kept her calm enough until I could get her to bed.
After her nap, LG went to the GP to be weighed and to find out if the solid food she has been eating has helped her gain any weight. Thankfully, she weighs 15 lbs. 3oz., and the health visitor says that she is pleased with her weight gain. We will not need to return to the GP for another month.
The GP is right next to a grocery store, and I needed to get a few things, so I put LG in the trolley(buggy) seat for the first time, and she loved it! We had at least 5 people stop us in the store, and 1 outside the store to talk to LG since she was so cute in the trolley.
