Exciting Day

This morning before church, LG could feel the excitement in the air.

I had the house all decorated for a tea party for the ladies in our English club.  After church, all the ladies came to our house for tea, and LG and all the other kids went with B and the other teacher to have fun.  A great day was had by all, but I think B and the other teacher are happy to get back to teaching and let us have the childminding/babysitting back.  :)

Baby Doll

LG has discovered baby dolls, and in particular, this baby doll.  She carries her around everywhere.  :)

Taco Bell

Today was not just the sad day that our holiday ended, it was the day LG got to have Taco Bell for the first time!  There is only one Taco Bell in the whole city, and we passed it on the way home.  LG ate all of her yummy chicken quesidilla!  That's a true American girl!  :)

Another Day of Fun!

Today we went to the playground again first thing like yesterday.  LG loved it!

Later in the day, we went to a pet shop, and LG had a fun time with the parrot, guinea pigs, and fish.  The parrot told LG,"goodbye," when she left!

In the afternoon, we waiting for Daddy to come home in the backgarden/yard of our guesthouse.  LG found a chair that she enjoyed climbing into and sitting in.  She also enjoyed collecting berries under the rose bush.  :)

Tomorrow our holiday ends, and we go home.  :(

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Our little holiday has been fun so far, although yesterday LG and I accidentally walked to a neighboring town looking for something.  :)

This morning, LG was up and ready to go!

When Daddy left for his conference, LG and I went to the local playground.  It was great because we were the only ones there!  LG tried out all the playground equipment, but then she decided she like the round-a-bout/merry-go-round the best.  It had a seat on it just made for LG!

After LG's nap, we went to a friend's house for lunch and to play.  LG discovered the toy car, and even though she hasn't figured out how to make it move, she enjoyed sitting in it, opening the door, getting out, getting back in, closing the door, sitting in it, etc., etc, all afternoon!  :)

Yorkshire Puddings

Today we all headed down south for Daddy to attend a conference.  LG and I will be spending our days visiting with friends and enjoying new places to stroll.  After we checked into our guesthouse, we went to a restaurant and LG ONLY ate Yorkshire puddings...her favorite.  :)

Another Party

LG had another big day of fun today. 

She started the day off in a great mood, happy to have her straw sippy cup.

This afternoon she was invited to "real" birthday party.  Her friend was only turning one, but that didn't stop her parents from renting a hall and entertainment.  LG loved the entertainment!  It was put on by Monkey Music, which is a children's interactive music activity.  Here you see LG enjoying all the instruments (and extras).

After the party was over, LG had a great time running down the lane with Daddy. 

Sadly, after the picture was taken, LG fell and incurred her first skint knee, but she picked herself right up and kept running!  :)

Fun Outdoors

It's been raining so wellies were required for this bachyard/garden outing. 

Daddy was doing some trimming to the greenery, and LG was helping!

Flying Fairies and Play Dough

LG's friend Gloria gave her a flying fairy as a party favor a while back.  Daddy and LG has a fun time putting it together, but LG had an even greater time watching it fly.  She laughed and laughed and laughed!  It's a shame the flying fairy didn't last past the afternoon.  :(

 After the flying fun was done, LG discovered play dough!  A friend at church made a whole bunch and gave some of it to us.  LG had a great time rolling the dough and cutting out shapes!

Big Helper!

Well, I tried to upload the cutest video ever of LG loading the washing machine for me, but it just will not upload.  So...you will just have to look at photos.

Package From Grandma

Today LG got a package from Grandma.  It was bigger than her!  (Maybe Grandma wants us to ship LG back to her.)  :)

Playing

Today we played a lot.

We played with Mommy's shoe.

We played with our lunchbox.

And...we played with the new garage we got off of freecycle today.  Sadly, there were no cars that came with the garage, so we had to figure out other ways to play with it.  (While Mommy was in the kitchen, she heard laughing coming from LG.  When she returned she saw that LG had climbed on the garage and was trying to slide down the slide.)

Straw!

LG drank from a straw today!  We went to a local diner, and LG had chicken, baked bean, and french fries.  She loves the baked beans, eats the chicken, and will not even touch the french fries!  But...most importantly, LG drank milk from a straw!
