We Are Officially Pregnant!

This morning we got up early and took LG over to her friend Ben's so B and I could catch the train into town to get our first scan/sonogram of the new baby.  I was very nervous leaving LG that long, but my friend assured me that she would be fine.

When we arrived at the clinic for the scan, we noticed that the clinic seemed nicer than any other medical facility we had ever been in in this country.  We also noticed that we seemed under dressed.  We were impressed that they saw us early since we arrived a bit early, and we were also impressed with how much time the lady working the scan spent with us.  She showed us everything and explained everything in detail.  Of course, it was amazing to finally see this little person inside of me kicking around.  (I know I can feel him/her moving already, even though I am not supposed to yet.)

When we left, we were given an envelope of photos, and a DVD of the whole scan!  Wow!  We also got a 4-D photo!  We never got this much when we had LG's scans!

Afterwards, B and I went for a burrito at one of our favorite Mexican places because when I called to check on LG, she was taking a nap!  Yeah!

When we finally did get home, and I went to pick up LG, she was still napping, so I got to show my friend the photos and the DVD.  I started to describe where this place was that we went to have the scan done, and she about flipped out.  The place we were sent to is where all the famous people go to get scans done!  No wonder we looked out of place!  :)

Here is a picture of me outside the scan clinic.  You can't really tell from the photo since I have my coat on, but I have been wearing maternity clothes for a couple of weeks now.  I feel like I am already huge!  (I'll post the scan pictures as soon as I scan them.  Ha!)
