Today LG celebrated her first 4th of July! We went to church wearing our red, white, and blue and were greeted by another American family in their patriotic colors, as well. It was odd celebrating this holiday in "enemy" territory. :)
After church we went over to a friend's house to celebrate! I had brought over a patriotic table clothe in our crate, so we used it. We grilled hamburgers that I had prepared the night before. We also had hot dogs, potato salad, lentil salad, and sweet tea. We had bbq baked beans, but I forgot to bring those. Most importantly, we had watermelon! I am happy to say that LG loves watermelon!!!! Yeah! My little American, Southern girl!
