We're about to call it a day and try to get some rest before 4AM tomorrow. We're keeping an eye on Hurricane Ida in the Gulf heading this way. It's not predicted to be a strong hurricane, but we're trying to keep ourselves updated on where it's headed.
I (B) am thinking of all the vocabulary words I've learned over the past nine months. There's a whole list, and even some we had to learn in a foreign language.
There are the words from all the blood tests, the ingredients in pre-natal vitamins, vocabulary of various tests, and how to read sonograms (with the doctors' help of course).
Then there are all the Latin/Greek based words:
- Bilirubin or C33H36N4O6
- Colostrum
- Dystocia
- Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC)
- Lochia
- Macrosomia (not related to insomnia)
- Meconium
- Vernix
Then there are the future new vocabulary words:
- Patience
- Love
- Sacrifice
- Encouragement
- Comfort
- Entertainer
- Discipline
- Teacher
- and the most important....

Today's THE DAY!!! Wahoooooooo! Praying for you both and baby girl.
ReplyDeleteI like the new vocab words, good choices for the list.
