We had hoped LG would sleep the first hour or two on the way home so that during the last hour of the trip, we could do a little tourist destination. Sadly, LG had other plans. She cried the entire first two hours of the trip home, and then slept the last hour. Mommy slept that last hour, too. No tourist destination for us this time!
We did have one picture worthy moment during the journey. After the two hour crying spell, we stopped for a breather, and LG tried her very first hamburger. She liked it. Maybe that's what put her to sleep when we got back in the car?
When we finally got home, LG was an altogether different person. She was her usual inquisitive self. She started going through her diaper/nappy bag, then she grabbed her teddy bear, and she put a diaper/nappy on her teddy bear! Then she played peak-a-boo with her blanky!
