Goodbye, Grandmother and Granddaddy

Today was another sad day when we had to say goodbye to Grandmother and Granddaddy.  We have enjoyed their time with us so much.  We will really miss them!  Both of them helped me do lots of things around the house that has just not gotten done because we have been too busy with work and LG.  We finished painting the upstairs bathroom (except for the door), we got the front door light working, we fixed LG's doorknob that was halfway off, we hung a medicine cabinet in the upstairs bathroom, we covered window seat cushions and started on curtains, we repaired the holes in the kitchen wall and painted, we installed a back splash behind the stove top,  we added a door stop in the kitchen, we oiled hinges, and we fixed the sunk pump in the basement.  More importantly, though, Grandmother and Granddaddy played and played and played with LG.  Their presence really helped her get through the time when Daddy was away on his business trip.  Today, because they played with her so much and read books about animals, LG started saying, "Woof, woof," for a dog and, "Meow," for a cat!  We love you, Grandmother and Granddaddy!
