Capernium and the Sea of Galilee

This morning we set out for Capernium and the Sea of Galilee. We had a little break at McDonald's on the way.

At Capernium we saw the remains of Peter's mother-in-law's house and a 4th century synagogue that was built on top of the synagogue where Jesus preached.

LG enjoyed all the different people from around the world who wanted to speak to her and take their picture with her.

We then took a break, ate a falafel, and drank some water.

Then we saw where Jesus fed a lot of people with fish and bread and where he preached the Beatitudes. (two of these pictures got stuck at the bottom of the list for some reason)

Then, as LG enjoyed playing with her Hebrew speaking duckling, we drove around the Golan Heights and watched the sun set over the Sea of Galilee!
