This morning after I got LG dressed, I plopped her down on her bedroom floor to play. (Yeah! That was so nice because she didn't have enough room to play in her room before!) What did she immediately start doing? She started clapping! Yesterday, one of my friends and her two kids had tried to help LG clap (she rarely clapped before), and I think it has finally stuck! She clapped, clapped, clapped all day today!
Later this afternoon, I took LG up to her room to play again, and I sat down with her to read a book, but we only got half way through the book before LG wanted to crawl away and do something else. (She is getting good at this crawling thing!) So...I continued reading the book because I wanted to know how it ended. When I looked up again, LG was standing!!!! She had crawled up the bookcase so that she could grab some different books off the second shelf! I yelled for B who brought the camera, and I was able to take quite a lot of pictures before she fell down. She didn't cry long because she wanted to read her books that she had taken off the shelf. That's my little bookworm! :)
