Week 32: Jicama

Not sure what a jicama is but Little One is about the size of one.  That means that she weighs almost 4 pounds!  She also has fingernails, toenails, and hair!

Yesterday, we had a routine doctor's appointment. We asked about the swine flu vaccination. It has not yet been approved, and when it is we will be given information on it. It is highly recommended that pregnant women get the traditional flu vaccination though. So, R rolled up her sleeve and got the poke. Funny though, the nurse was saying she had just gotten the shot over the weekend and how awful it made her feel. It didn't inspire confidence for sure. Grandma N. and B are thinking of getting the vaccination, too!

R is slightly anemic this week so she'll have to take iron from now on.

We purchased a high chair this week, and a lot of cute, wintery clothes for Little Girl.  We were also given an infant swing for our time in the USA.  I'm sure more things for Little Girl will be coming, since another baby shower will be thrown for us this next weekend.

Did I mention a couple of weeks ago that we purchased Little Girl's crib bedding?  It's purple floral embroidered patchwork.  :)

We also think we have figured out our top ten list of names for Little Girl.  :)  You will have to wait until the birth to know what we have finally decided on, though.  :)
