Week 28: Chinese cabbage

Entering the third trimester...

Today, little one can open and shut her eyes, and she has grown eyelashes. She's the size of a Chinese cabbage and weights nearly 2 1/4 pounds.

We went in today for the diabetes test. R passed. The doctor was pleased with the weight gain, said the measurements were right on for 28 weeks, and said that the blood pressure looked good. She reiterated the need to take it easy and not travel. The appointments will be every 2 weeks from now until week 36, when they will be every week.

It has also been a time for registering for baby gifts.
